Parent-managed project

Normal Ant Colony is a family project involving children. A parent manages the website, email list, public updates, contributions, and any future store. The children are not identified on this site and do not receive direct visitor messages.

What we collect

The field-notes form collects an adult's name, email address, and selected interest. It requires confirmation that the subscriber is at least 18. We use basic website analytics to understand which pages are useful.

What we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Please do not submit a child's name, email, school, photograph, or other identifying details.

Game saves

Normal Ant Colony saves game progress in the player's browser. The current game does not require an account and does not send the saved colony to our server.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare for hosting and security, Google Analytics for aggregate measurement, and Mattermost for internal signup notifications. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

Adults can unsubscribe from field notes at any time or request deletion by replying to a project email.
